Huskies Ace Michael Fowler Commits To LSU

Fowler is ranked as the eighth best baseball player in the state for the class of 2020, on a star-studded Hewitt-Trussville team.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - Hewitt-Trussville's success in baseball is expected to continue this spring, as the defending state runners-up bring back a bevy of talent. One of those talented players is hard-throwing tight-hander Michael Fowler, who this week committed to Louisiana State University to continue his baseball career after high school.

Fowler, according to a report by the Trussville Tribune, has a fastball that consistently clocks high 80s - reaching 90 miles per hour on some occasions. He was recently named to the 2018 Junior National Showcase Top Prospect List.
