Indians, Cougars, Huskies Remain In Top 5 After Wins
Pinson Valley, Clay-Chalkville and Hewitt-Trussville kept their spots in the ASWA top 10 rankings this week.
TRUSSVILLE, AL — The Alabama Sports Writers Association football rankings still feature Pinson Valley, Clay-Chalkville and Hewitt-Trussville in the top 5 after the most recent poll was released Wednesday.
Pinson Valley defeated Ramsay 27-7, and remained no. 2 in the ASWA 6A rankings. The Indians are now 1-1 on the season.
Hewitt-Trussville trounced West Forsyth (Ga.) 47-19 to improve to 2-0 and maintain its no. 5 ranking in Class 7A.

Clay-Chalkville stayed at no. 4 in the 6A poll, after edging out 7A opponent James Clemens 38-37.
