Large Structure Fire In Center Point: Firefighters Contain Blaze

CENTER POINT, AL - A massive fire at a business in Center Point had Birmingham and Center Point firefighters working to contain the blaze. The fire, at G & R Plastics on North Carson Road, could have been worse, as a report indicates explosives may have been inside the building.

A report by WIAT said the fire started mid-morning Monday, and was finally contained at about 1 p.m.
