Man Arrested In Pinson May Be Connected To Steele Homicide

PINSON, AL - A man arrested in Pinson will now be charged for murder in St. Clair County. Princeton Craig Pate, 60, has been charged with the murder of Steven R. Kirchner, 61, of Steele.

According to a report by the Trussville Tribune, an investigation in St. Clair County led authorities to Pate in Pinson, where he was arrested at the 8800 block of Clubhouse Circle Wednesday morning.

According to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, Pate is being held in the St. Clair County Jail without bond and will see a judge this afternoon.
