TRUSSVILLE, AL — An Indiana man was visiting relatives in Trussville when police arrested him on child pornography charges. Trussville police announced the arrest of 31-year-old Ian Kennedy, who is facing more than 20 child pornography charges.

The Alabama Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force — of which the Trussville PD is a member — received a crime tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children earlier this week which led to a Tuesday raid at a home in the 3500 block of Queenstown Road, according to an Alabama Media Group report.

A search of the residence led detectives to multiple electronic devices inside the home that contained pornographic images of prepubescent children. Investigators took the evidence to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office, which so far has issued 22 warrants against Kennedy.
