Man Charged In East Birmingham Shooting
A shooting Friday night in east Birmingham has resulted in the arrest of a 32-year-old suspect.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A shooting Friday night has netted one arrest, as 32-year-old James Larry Wilson has been charged with attempted murder. A woman was found by police suffering from gunshot wounds at a Shell Station on Roebuck Parkway, and said she had been shot at another location.
Officers from the Birmingham’s East Precinct responded to a call of a shooting around 8:30 Friday night, according to a report by Alabama Media Group. Once on the scene, they found a woman inside her vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder. The victim told officers she was shot by an unknown male.

The victim was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder. Williams said the two did not know each other and a motive has not yet been released. Wilson is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on $100,000 bond.
