Man Injured After Crashing Into Trussville Christmas Tree
A man has been injured after he crashed his car into the Trussville Christmas tree.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - In a strange one-vehicle traffic accident, a man was injured Tuesday when his truck crashed into the Chrustmas tree on West Mall and North Chalkville Road in Trussville.
According to a report by the Trussville Tribune, the man was transported to the hospital in stable condition following the crash.
Reports say the vehicle hit the curb on Brentwood Avenue before accelerating across West Mall, jumping the curb and crashing into the Christmas tree. A street lamp post and two crape myrtle trees were destroyed as a result, and the Christmas tree had extensive damage to the trunk and lost several lower limbs on the Brentwood side of the tree.

The tree was was originally brought to Trussville from McMinn County, Tenn.
