Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash Identified

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL - A motorcycle crash Sunday on Parkway East claimed the life of a 47-year-old man. The victim has been identified as Sean LeWayne Reed of Birmingham.

The incident happened May 5 at 6:45 p.m., according to a Trussville Tribune report. Reed was killed when his motorcycle hit a car as he was approaching 4th Avenue South.

Reed was reportedly traveling east and a car traveling west attempted to turn in front of him. Reed’s motorcycle hit the passenger side of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
