Man Shot After Dispute In Center Point
A suspect has been identified in a shooting Monday in Center Point that left a victim hospitalized.
CENTER POINT, AL — A man was shot after a dispute Monday night in Center Point. The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident occurred just after 8 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of 20th Court NE in Center Point. Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies received reports of a man down, and responded to the scene find a man on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.
Witnesses reported that there was a dispute between two men prior to the shooting. Detectives have identified a suspect but he is not in custody as of Tuesday morning.
