Man Wrecks Vehicle After Being Shot

A man who wrecked his vehicle on Center Point Road early Saturday morning was suffering from gunshot wounds.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Friday night or early Saturday morning. The victim was found by deputies after a vehicle accident to be suffering from gunshot wounds.

Reports by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said at approximately 1:45 a.m. Saturday, witnesses called 911 to report seeing a man turn from 36th Avenue NE onto Center Point Road and wreck his vehicle.
