Motorcyclist Critically Injured On Highway 79

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident on Pinson Valley Parkway Friday at Red Hollow Road involving a car and motorcycle.

Evidence suggests the automobile pulled across Highway 79 and was struck by the motorcycle traveling on Highway 79.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.The driver of the automobile was also transported to the hospital. His condition is unknown.
