Motorcyclist Killed In Jefferson County Crash

JEFFERSON CLUNTY, AL — A motorcycle crash in Jefferson County Wednesday night claimed the life of a 52-year-old man. The victim has been identified as Brian Keith Peoples.

The crash happened at 8:05 p.m. at Kerry Drive and Newcastle Road in Morris. An Alabama Media Group report said Peoples and a friend were riding motorcycles together, and the friend got to the top of the hill on Kerry Drive and noticed Peoples wasn’t with him.

The friend found Peoples and his Harley Davidson on the side of the gravel roadway. Authorities pronounced Peoples dead on the scene.
