Pedestrian Killed On Highway 79 In Pinson
A 35-year-old man was struck by a vehicle as he attempted to cross Highway 79 Friday.
PINSON, AL — A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle while he was trying to cross Highway 79 in Pinson Friday. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the man as 38-year-old Chadd Alan Garton.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. Friday.
Garton was pronounced dead at the scene.
