Pinson Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges
A 50-year-old Pinson man has been charged with four counts of possession of child exploitation material.
PINSON, AL - A 50-year-old Pinson man has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography. Christopher Goforth, 50was booked into the Jefferson County Jail Thursday.
A report by Alabama Media Group said Goforth was arrested by the State Bureau of InvestigationsSpecial Victims Unit after receiving an investigative lead. State authorities were assisted in the probe by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations and the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force. Details of the allegations against Goforth are being withheld pending an ongoing investigation.

Goforth was released from the county jail just before 1 a.m. Friday after posting $60,000 bond. Additional charges are expected.
