Pinson Valley's Kam Woods Named 6A Player Of The Year
Pinson Valley basketball star Kam Woods was named the 6A Player of the Year this week.

PINSON, AL - Pinson Valley's march to the 6A basketball state championship this season could not happened without the extraordinary play of shooting guard Kam Woods. That play was rewarded Tuesday as the Alabama Sports Writers Association named Woods the 6A Player of the Year.
Woods, who transferred to PVHS from Midfield before the season, finished his junior year with 25.1 points per game, 3.2 assists per game, 4.6 rebounds per game and 2.5 steals per game.
Woods was also named to the Super All State Team by the ASWA, comprised of the best players regardless of classification.
