Police Search For Family Of Man Whose Remains Were Found In Leeds
The skeletal remains of a man found 10 days ago in a home in Leeds have been identified, and police are now searching for the man's family.

LEEDS, AL - A man whose skeletal remains were found in a home in Leeds has been identified. Now, police are trying to locate the family of 55-year-old Roger Perkins, who was discovered dead 10 days ago.
Perkins was living in a home in the 7400 block of Frisco Avenue in Leeds, according to an Alabama Media Group report. His remains were found June 14 when an acquaintance requested police do a welfare check at the house because Perkins had not been seen or heard from in a while.
Perkins had lived in that home with a friend – homeowner James Elliott Hogland – until Hogland’s death in 2018. At the time Perkins’ remains were found, there was no water or electricity at the house. Yates said he was last known to be alive in March.
