Shooting Investigation Under Way In Trussville Area
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting Monday night in an unincorporated area of Trussville.
TRUSSVILLE, AL - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Monday night in an unincorporated area of Trussville. The shooting happened in the 5900 block of Service Road.
A report by the Sheriff's office said at approximately 8:40 p.m., deputies were contacted by Trussville Police officers on the scene of a shooting on Service Road. Deputies responded and reportedly found one man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Deputies later found another person involved in the shooting being treated at a nearby hospital. The victim is in critical condition.
