Shots Fired At Apartment Complex Near Chalkville Elementary
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating shots fired at the Tammera Trail Apartments Wednesday night.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating multiple shots fired in the parking lot of the Tammera Trail Apartments Wednesday night. Deputies discovered approximately 60 shell casings at the apartment complex, located near Chalkville Elementary School.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said most of the rounds from the casings entered a single apartment at the complex. Money said no one was injured during the shooting.
