Trussville To Host Secret Service Anti-Terrorism Training

The United States Secret Service will hold an anti-terrorism training conference next week in Trussville.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - The United States Secret Service is scheduled to hold an anti-terrorism training session in Trussville next week. The conference is aimed at law enforcement officers and will educate in “trends and tactics” in terrorism.

According to a report by the Trussville Tribune, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Alabama is working with the Huntsville and Trussville police departments as well as the Critical Protective Analysis Group of the Secret Service to present two conferences.

One will be held on July 17 at the at the Huntsville Public Safety Training Academy, and the next will be held at the Trussville Civic Center on July 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with registration from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. U.S. Attorney Lloyd Peeples will open the conference in Trussville.
