Trussville Motorcyclist Killed In Crash

David Brandon Jones of Trussville was killed when he was hit from behind by a car Thursday night.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A 43-year-old Trussville man was killed Thursday night after his motorcycle was hit from behind by another vehicle. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as David Brandon Jones.

The crash occurred at 9:32 p.m. in the 6800 block of Gadsden Highway. An Alabama Media Group report said Jones was traveling southbound when he stopped to make a turn. The driver of a BMW crashed into the back of Jones’ motorcycle. Jones was pronounced dead on the scene at 9:44 p.m.
