Trussville Police Equipment Vandalized

Some equipment owned by the Trussville Police Department was damaged between late January 22 and early January 23.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - The Trussville Police Department is currently trying to identify a suspect or suspects that vandalized some TPD equipment this week. Sometime during the overnight hours of January 22 and early morning hours of January 23 an unknown person or persons intentionally damaged a traffic survey counter that belong to the department.

The counter was located in the 6200 block of Alabama Drive, according to TPD reports. The device is a small grey box typically chained to a utility pole or street sign with two small black rubber tubes crossing the entire roadway. Police officials ask that if anyone has any information about the incident they please contact the Trussville Police Department at 205-655-2101.
