The Trussville Police issued a warrant February 7 for a December robbery that occurred at Trussville Crossing Parkway.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - The Trussville Police Department has issued a warrant for the arrest of a man they believe committed a robbery in the parking lot at Trussville Crossing in December. Police are now searching for Jermaine Sanchez Wimes, 25, of Center Point. The warrant charges him with first degree robbery. His bond is set at $200,000.
According to a report from the Trussville Tribune, the suspect was inside Marshall's and appeared to be shoplifting. He then walked outside of the store and put a gun to the head of a woman who was exiting her car in the parking lot, and stole a gun that belonged to the woman.
“Wimes is still at large and anyone with information about his location is urged to contact their local law enforcement agency,” Trussville Police Mike Sgt. Bruce said.
