Trussville Shooting: 1 Teen Dead, 1 Arrested
A shooting between two Trussville teens early Wednesday morning left a Hewitt-Trussville High School student dead.
TRUSSVILLE, AL — A shooting between two Trussville teens ended with one Hewitt-Trussville High School student dead, and another arrested. The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. in the 7600 block of Happy Hollow Road.
Trussville police said 18-year-old Trent Thomas Parkerson was pronounced dead at the scene. A 17-year-old boy was taken into custody.
Police said the two teens knew each other, but the investigation has not determined the motive behind the shooting.
