Update: Trussville Youth Group Returns From Haiti
After being stranded in Haiti due to political protests, a church youth group has finally returned to the states.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - A Trussville church youth group that had been stranded in Haiti this week amid political protests in that country has finally returned home.
According to a report by the Trussville Tribune, the Faith Community Fellowship youth group members were welcomed by families Tuesday who were waiting while the events in Haiti unfolded. The song “Sweet Home Alabama” was played as a fitting tribute while American flags were displayed and welcome signs were held.

Trussville Church Group Stranded In Haiti
The group was scheduled to fly out Saturday before the airport was shut down due to protests from civil unrest in the country. Though they were in no danger, the youth group had been stuck in their camp as flights in the country were grounded.

The group had been in Haiti as part of Mission of Hope. While there, they spent 10 days with the natives playing sports and helping with newly built homes.
