Volunteers Set To Clean Logan Martin Lake March 17–24
The annual Renew Our Rivers Logan Martin cleanup is Saturday, March 17 through Saturday, March 24.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Alabama Power and the Logan Martin Lake Protection Association has announced its annual Renew Our Rivers Logan Martin cleanup is set for Saturday, March 17 through Saturday, March 24.
Volunteer can report to any of the following sites beginning at 8 a.m. March 17: Caribe Club Marina, Clear Creek Marina, Lakeside Landing, Poor House Branch Marina, Woods Surfside Marina or Pell City Civic Center. Volunteers should wear long pants and boots. Minors must have a chaperone to participate. The cleanup will end at noon on March 24 followed by a picnic at Pell City Lakeside Park.
Volunteers for Renew Our Rivers, one of the Southeast’s largest river cleanup campaigns, have collected nearly 15 million pounds of trash and debris since the program’s inception in 2000. This year, 30 cleanups are planned through November on the Alabama, Black Warrior, Cahaba, Chattahoochee, Coosa, Mobile and Tallapoosa rivers.
