Weekend Accident On Highway 79 Injures Adult, Toddler
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a vehicle accident with injuries from Friday.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — An accident Friday on Highway 79 in Pinson is under investigation after an adult and a toddler were injured and taken to a local hospital. The incident occurred just after 11 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Highway 79 and Old Bradford Road.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said a vehicle with an adult driver and toddler passenger collided with a truck. The driver of the truck was unharmed, but the adult and toddler were taken to nearby hospitals with injuries.
Money said the condition of the adult and child are unknown.
