Woman Has Purse Stolen At Gunpoint In Trussville Parking Lot

TRUSSVILLE, AL - An elderly woman was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday morning in the parking lot of Trussville's Tutwiler Farm shopping center.

According to a report by the Trussville Tribune, the incident occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday. Police reported that a black male armed with a handgun robbed the women of her purse.

Reports say the suspect then ran from the scene and got into a Black Dodge Dakota single cab with two other black males. The truck had faded and chipping paint on the hood and roof of the truck.

The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 11.
