Wreck In Sylvan Springs Results In Death Of Child
A wreck on Birmingport Road resulted in six injuries and the death of a child.
SYLVAN SPRINGS, AL - A wreck on Birmingport Road Thursday has left six people injured, four of which are children. There was one fatality in the wreck.
David Agee of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said one of the children died after being transported to a local hospital.
A report from CBS-42 said the wreck involved a service truck and a midsize car on Birmingport Rd. in the area of Galveston St. Sylvan Springs Fire and Rescue said seven total injuries were reported.

The JCSO is investigating the cause of the wreck.
