12 Arrested For Solicitation During Undercover Bust

The West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force on Monday announced a dozen arrests for solicitation after an undercover operation.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force on Monday confirmed making a dozen arrests for solicitation of prostitution during an undercover sting operation over the weekend.

The two-day operation conducted at a local hotel involved officers from the Tuscaloosa Police Department, Northport Police Department, the University of Alabama Police Department and the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office.

The nonprofit advocacy group Project Hope also assisted in the operation.
