Sources confirm Kirkpatrick, a Gadsden native and son of former Alabama standout and NFL cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, was arrested in Gadsden on charges of harassing communications and doxing.

His bond was set at $300 for each charge.

Kirkpatrick is represented by Tuscaloosa criminal defense attorney Jason Neff, who confirmed the news to Tuscaloosa Patch but declined to comment further on the case when contacted Monday.

The circumstances surrounding the latest allegations have not been publicly disclosed.

Under Alabama law, doxing is a criminal offense involving the intentional electronic disclosure of another person's identifying information for the purpose of having others harass or harm that person.

The arrest came one day before Alabama's 31-20 victory over Texas A&M at Bryant-Denny Stadium, a game Kirkpatrick missed after being suspended for violating team rules.

Speaking Monday at the Monday Morning Quarterback Club in Birmingham, DeBoer addressed Kirkpatrick's status with the program.

"He's not with us," DeBoer told reporters. "We have an expectation and standard in our program, and the team rules, and things that go along with that. There's still some details that I'm trying to understand, but it's enough to where we know that's not how we operate."

DeBoer did not elaborate on the allegations.

The latest arrest marks another legal setback for the defensive back, who was indefinitely suspended in November 2025 following an arrest in Tuscaloosa.

As Patch previously reported, Kirkpatrick was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment, attempting to elude law enforcement and speeding.

In that case, officers attempted to stop a Mercedes sedan allegedly traveling at excessive speed. Investigators said the driver continued forward despite officers attempting to stop the vehicle, forcing them to move out of its path.

Kirkpatrick was subsequently suspended for the remainder of Alabama's 2025 season but was eventually allowed to return to the team this season.

Alabama is entering its bye week before traveling to Baton Rouge to face LSU on Nov. 7.
