Alabama Earns No. 2 Seed, First-Round Bye In SEC Softball Tournament

Alabama softball (41-10​, 16-8 SEC) received a No. 2 overall seed and first-round bye for the SEC Softball Tournament in Florida.

The Crimson Tide will open the tournament on Thursday, May 12 at 1:30 p.m. local time on the SEC Network, facing off against the winner of Missouri and Auburn on Wednesday.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama softball (41-10, 16-8 SEC) received a No. 2 overall seed and first-round bye for the SEC Softball Tournament in Gainesville, Florida.

The Crimson Tide will open the tournament on Thursday, May 12 at 1:30 p.m. local time on the SEC Network, facing off against the winner of Missouri and Auburn on Wednesday.

The first round of the tournament kicks off Tuesday, May 10 and continues through the championship game on Saturday.

Alabama has a 44-26 all-time record in the SEC Tournament, winning six tournament titles in 1998, 2003, 2005, 2010, 2012 and 2022.
