Alabama Hoops To Take On MSU In SEC Tournament Quarterfinal
No. 1 seed Alabama is set to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs Friday at noon in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — No. 1 seed Alabama men's basketball is set to take on No. 9 seed Mississippi State Friday at noon in the quarterfinal round of the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

SEC regular season champions Alabama (26-5, 16-2 SEC) swept the series against the Bulldogs (21-11, 8-10 SEC) during the regular season, defeating MSU 78-67 in Starkville in December 2022 and then a 66-63 heart-stopper in Tuscaloosa on Jan. 25.

Mississippi State advances to quarterfinals after winning a tightly fought 69-68 tilt over No. 8 seed Florida Thursday.
