BATON ROUGE, LA — No. 4 Alabama soccer (13-1-1, 6-0-0 SEC) remains unbeaten in Southeastern Conference play following a 5-0 win over the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge Sunday afternoon.

The Tide's first goal of the day came from Kate Henderson at the 20:08 mark, followed by another first-half goal from Giana Paul to put the Tide up 2-0 early.

Felicia Knox then added her fifth goal of the season in the second period at 52:20 to all but ice the game and secure the momentum for Alabama.
Reyna Reyes padded Alabama's lead at the 67:52 mark with a penalty kick goal, which was immediately followed by Riley Mattingly Parker sinking her team-leading 11th goal of the 2022 season to put the Tide up 5-0.

On the defensive side, Alabama keeper McKinley Crone secured the shutout with 4 saves on the day.
The Crimson Tide will return to the friendly confines of its home stadium next Sunday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network.
