Knox was honored primarily for her role in the Tide's upset win over an undefeated South Carolina team ranked fifth nationally at the time, in addition to her performance in a 6-0 win over Chattanooga.

As Patch reported earlier this week, Knox was also named SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week for her play last week.
