ALDOT To Begin Resurfacing Stretch of Highway 215 Next Week
Work on the 2.01 mile, $2.66 million project is set to begin next Wednesday, with work primarily being done at night.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) announced plans on Thursday to resurface a portion of Highway 215 (15th Street) from the intersection of Greensboro Avenue to the junction of Dr. Edward Hillard Drive beginning next Wednesday.

The resurfacing will be aimed at improving mobility and safety.Work is expected to conclude sometime in late 2021. ALDOT also pointed out that the contractor will only be permitted to close lanes between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. to reduce the impact on traffic.
