Warner died in 2017, just five months shy of his 100th birthday.
Apart from his notable business pursuits, Warner was also widely known for his support of artists, most notably England's premiere wildlife painter, Basil Ede, whom he commissioned in 1975 to paint a life-size collection of 100 Wild Birds of North America.
His love for art also culminated in the creation of the Westervelt-Warner Museum of American Art, which made his extensive art collection accessible to thousands of visitors from 2003 until the museum's closing in 2012.
Through personal reflections and historical context, the documentary offers what organizers describe as an intimate portrait of the man behind the legacy, examining both the opportunities and challenges that shaped his life and career.
The screening of “Remembering Jack Warner: An American Patriot” is open to the public and free to attend.
