Buhl Man Indicted On 100 Additional Child Pornography Charges
A Buhl man accused of possessing and disseminating child pornography has been indicted on an additional 100 charges.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Buhl man accused of possessing and disseminating child pornography has been indicted on an additional 100 counts of possession.

As Patch previously reported, Dennis Wright was arrested in late January on one count of dissemination of child pornography and 20 additional charges of possession of child pornography. He was arrested in the area of Romulus Road and Boothtown Road.

Lt. Scott Taylor, who supervises the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division (CID), told Patch that after the initial charges, investigators presented an additional 100 counts to the grand jury, which handed down indictments.
Wright had bonded out from the Tuscaloosa County Jail prior to the new indictments and has since been taken back into custody, with his cash bond set at $1 million for the new charges.

His total bond, as it stands, is set at $1.2 million for the 120 charges of possession of child pornography and the lone count of dissemination.
Taylor also mentioned that once the story of Taylor's arrest went public, numerous other victims came forward to speak with investigators. Indeed, one alleged victim even reached out to Tuscaloosa Patch following the publication of the story.
Taylor said the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges are possible.
