City Accepting Applications For Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports Board Of Directors

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa on Friday announced it is accepting resumes to fill an unexpired term on the Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports (TTS) Commission Board of Directors.

The deadline to apply is April 5.

TTS oversees the promotion of attractions, food and entertainment facilities, along with special events geared toward bringing tourists into the community.

The City of Tuscaloosa says the appointee must be a qualified elector of the City of Tuscaloosa or work or operate a business within the corporate limits or police jurisdiction of the city.

The appointee will fill out the remainder of the unexpired term, which will expire on Sept. 30, 2023.
