City Of Tuscaloosa Announces Labor Day Schedule

The City of Tuscaloosa on Tuesday announced it will close City Hall at 4 p.m. on Friday in observance of Labor Day and remain closed Monday

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa on Tuesday announced it will close City Hall at 4 p.m. on Friday in observance of Labor Day and remain closed on Monday. Sept. 4.

The city says normal hours will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 5. However, there will be no regularly scheduled City Council meetings on Tuesday.

As Patch previously reported, garbage, trash and recycling collection will also be delayed one day next week, beginning Monday, September 4.

  • Monday routes will be collected Tuesday, Sept. 5
  • Tuesday routes will be collected Wednesday, Sept. 6
  • Wednesday routes will be collected Thursday, Sept. 7
  • Thursday routes will be collected Friday, Sept. 8
