Tuscaloosa County High Athletic Director Dominic Ingram said the school has heard from several students who want to attend the game but cannot afford the cost of admission.

TCHS is seeking sponsors willing to help cover ticket costs so students can travel to Birmingham and support the Wildcats as they compete for its first state title since 1960.

In addition to ticket sponsorships, TCHS is organizing fan buses to transport students to the game at the BJCC.

Students interested in riding a fan bus must sign up in advance using the school’s registration form.

School officials said the sign-up deadline is 10 a.m. Friday to allow time to distribute permission slips and coordinate transportation.

Ingram emphasized that students should only sign up if they are certain they plan to ride the bus, as the school is scheduling drivers and buses based strictly on the number of students who register.
