Crimson Tide Baseball Cracks Top 25 In Preseason Poll

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Crimson Tide baseball team will start the upcoming season ranked No. 20 in D1Baseball.com's Preseason Top 25.

The website announced its rankings on Tuesday, with the Tide's representing the highest ranking it has received by any outlet thus far in the preseason.

The No. 20 ranking also represents the highest preseason ranking from D1Baseball.com since the Crimson Tide opened the 2015 season at No. 20.

D1Baseball.com also published its list of the top 50 transfers in the conference on its SEC Extra site, with Alabama seeing four players break the top 50:

• Ed Johnson (18)
• Mac Guscette (28)
• Ryan Guardino (36)
• Aidan Moza (39).

The 2023 baseball season will begin in Tuscaloosa on Feb. 17 when Richmond visits Sewell-Thomas Stadium at 3 p.m.
