DCH's Manderson Cancer Center To Offer Free Breast Cancer Screenings In October
DCH Health System's Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center will offering free breast screenings to women during the month of October.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — DCH Health System's Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center plans to offer free breast screenings to women in its service area during the month of October.

DCH Health System says participants who meet the necessary criteria will receive a clinical breast exam and will also be provided information about breast cancer. What's more, officials will set up an appointment for a free mammogram, with pre-registration required.

The first screenings provided are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 10 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Pre-registration is required by Oct. 5.

The Manderson Cancer Center is located next to the Phelps Outpatient Center at DCH Regional Medical Center.
In order to qualify, participants must meet the following criteria:
- Preregistration
- No personal history of breast cancer
- No health insurance
- Must live in the DCH service area
- Women 25 years old and older
