TUSCALOOSA, AL — The city of Tuscaloosa saw at one incumbent unseat and two runoffs forced, including one incumbent, during Tuesday's municipal election.

QUICK ANALYSIS
- Incumbent Mayor Walt Maddox won all seven council districts Tuesday night, receiving the most votes in District 3 and garnering the highest percentage of the vote with 69% in District 2.
- The largest council district by size in the city - District 3 with more than 12,000 voters - also saw the highest turnout — at 32%.
- In total, 12,441 of the city's 62,371 registered voters cast ballots, coming out to a turnout of 20%.
- District 4, which had an uncontested council race on the ballot, saw the lowest turnout.

Turnout: 1,383 of 7,295 registered voters cast ballots or 19%.

City Council runoff candidates: Matthew Wilson (608 votes or 44%), Que Chandler (447 votes or 32%).
School board: Karen Thompson-Johnson (uncontested).
Mayoral results: Serena Fortenberry (162 votes or 12%), Martin Houston (302 votes or 23%) and Walt Maddox* (841 or 64%).
DISTRICT 2
Turnout: 1,361 of 9,508 registered voters cast ballots or 14%.
City Council: Raevan Howard* (711 votes or 52%).
School board: Kendra Williams (801 votes or 62%).
Mayoral results: Serena Fortenberry (123 votes or 10%), Martin Houston (267 votes or 21%) and Walt Maddox* (869 or 69%).
DISTRICT 3
Turnout: 3,908 of 12,248 registered voters cast ballots or 32%.
City Council: Norman Crow (2,458 votes or 63%)
School board: Lesley Powell (2,929 or 75%)
Mayoral results: Serena Fortenberry (597 votes or 16%), Martin Houston (1,328 votes or 36%) and Walt Maddox* (1,736 or 47%).
DISTRICT 4
Turnout: 333 of 5,942 registered voters cast ballots or 6%.
City Council: Lee Busby* (uncontested).
School board: Patrick Hamner* (uncontested).
Mayoral results: Serena Fortenberry (46 votes or 14%), Martin Houston (77 votes or 23%) and Walt Maddox* (209 or 63%).
DISTRICT 5
Turnout: 1,530 of 8,609 registered voters cast ballots or 18%.
City Council: Kip Tyner* (1,221 votes or 80%).
School board: Erica Grant* (uncontested).
Mayoral results: Serena Fortenberry (223 votes or 15%), Martin Houston (436 votes or 30%) and Walt Maddox* (818 or 55%).
DISTRICT 6
Turnout: 2,388 of 9,922 registered voters cast ballots or 24%.
City Council runoff candidates: John Faile (939 votes or 40%) & Eddie Pugh* (860 votes or 36%)
School board: Marvin Lucas* (uncontested).
Mayoral results: Serena Fortenberry (451 votes or 20%), Martin Houston (674 votes or 30%) and Walt Maddox* (1,151 votes or 50%).
DISTRICT 7
Turnout: 1,489 of 8,847 registered voters cast ballots or 17%.
City Council: Cassius Lanier (749 or 51%)
School board: Erskine Simmons* (uncontested).
Mayoral results: Serena Fortenberry (167 votes or 18%), Martin Houston (338 votes or 29%) and Walt Maddox* (914 votes or 64%).
