The Druid City Arts Festival is gearing up to return to downtown Tuscaloosa

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Druid City Arts Festival is gearing up to return to downtown Tuscaloosa for a weekend of art, music and family-friendly activities to Government Plaza.

The free two-day festival is scheduled for Friday, April 10, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Now in its 17th year, the festival transforms Government Plaza into an outdoor gallery and live music venue, showcasing the work of regional artists while offering entertainment and activities for attendees of all ages.
More than 80 artists are expected to participate, displaying and selling original works across a wide range of mediums, including clay, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, photography, sculpture, two-dimensional art and woodworking.

Festivalgoers can also enjoy live music performances throughout the weekend, along with interactive children’s activities and a selection of food and beverage vendors from across the region.
Organizers said additional details, such as the festival map, participating artists, music lineup and food vendors, will be announced in the coming weeks.
