Eutaw Man Killed In Sumter County Crash Sunday Morning

The two-vehicle crash occurred early Sunday morning on Interstate 59 Sunday morning, roughly five miles north of York.

YORK, AL — A Eutaw man is dead after a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 59 Sunday morning, roughly five miles north of York.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says Ronald J. Daniels, 44, was killed when the 2015 Nissan Maxima he was driving collided head-on with a 2019 Dodge Ram, driven by a Georgia woman.

Daniels was pronounced dead at the scene. which occurred on Interstate 59, near the 23 mile marker.

The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained from the crash. ALEA declined to provide any additional information on her condition.
