Former UA Soccer Coach, TTS President Launches Consulting Firm
Don Staley has launched his own Florida-based consulting firm focused on a variety of sports and hospitality areas.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Beloved former University of Alabama soccer coach and outgoing President and CEO of Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports Don Staley has launched his own Florida-based consulting firm focused on a variety of sports and hospitality areas.

In an announcement on Thursday Staley said the Southeastern Network of Athletic Professionals (SNAP) will provide or aid in due diligence for sports facility analysis, feasibility studies, executive searches and more.

“It’s my goal to give back to the industry to which I have dedicated 40 years of my life by providing innovative solutions to destination marketing organizations, commissions, sporting venues & facilities, municipalities, businesses and student-athletes to help achieve economic impact and personal financial goals," Staley said.
Compiling a 324-257-38 career record over more than two decades in coaching at the University of Alabama and Radford University, he went on to become president and CEO of TTS in 2017 after retiring from coaching.

As Patch previously reported, he announced he would switch to an advisory role at TTS beginning July 1.
Staley said his experience as a successful coach and nationally-recognized tourism professional provides him with a specific set of skills and network of professional contacts to help guide clients through the ever-changing sports and tourism sectors.
SNAP will be based out of Leesburg, Florida and will begin operations July 1
