Free Car Seat Giveaway Thursday In Northport For Those Who Qualify

NORTHPORT, AL — Northport Fire Rescue and Safe Kids Tuscaloosa will offer free car seats to those who qualify later this week.

The giveaway will be by appointment only, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 30 at Northport City Hall.

Those eligible to receive a free car seat include anyone with a child that has already been born who is receiving some form of public assistance through state programs such as Medicaid, Food Stamps, WIC and All Kids Insurance.
