Greene County Historical Society To Host Tour Of Historic Homes This Weekend

EUTAW, AL — The Greene County Historical Society is set to host its annual Historic Tour of Homes this weekend in Eutaw.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children, while the price for a group of 10 or more is $15 per attendee.

The two-day event will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tours will also be given on Sunday, Oct. 2 from noon until 5 p.m.

Food plates will be served both days until 2 p.m.

Here are the homes and churches that will be included on the tour.

• Glenville Plantation - Est. 1845
• The Schoppert-Cotton House - Est. 1856
• Everhope Plantation - Est. 1852
• First Presbyterian Church of Eutaw - Est. 1851
• Herndon Livermann House - Est. 1843
• Saint Stephens Episcopal Church - Est. 1914
• The Sipsey House - Est. 1835
• Ebenezer Presbyterian Church and Cemetery - Est. 1845
