Ingram starred at Alabama from 2008–10, played in 39 career games and helped lead the Crimson Tide to the 2009 BCS National Championship.
As part of that national championship campaign, he rushed for 1,658 yards and 17 touchdowns, both tops in the Southeastern Conference and good enough to earn him the first Heisman Trophy in Alabama program history.
He was also named SEC Offensive Player of the Year, a consensus All-American, and the MVP of the BCS title game.
Over his three seasons, Ingram totaled 3,261 rushing yards on 572 carries with 42 rushing touchdowns, marks that still rank seventh and third in school history, respectively.
He also added 60 receptions for 670 yards and four receiving touchdowns during his career.
Ingram was selected 28th overall by the New Orleans Saints in the 2010 NFL Draft and went on to play 12 NFL seasons with three franchises, rushing for 8,111 yards and 65 touchdowns and earning three Pro Bowl selections (2014, 2017, 2019).
He retired from the NFL in 2022 and currently works as an on-air personality for Fox Sports.
