Helena Man Killed In Tuscaloosa County Crash
A Helena man was killed Wednesday night in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 82 east of Tuscaloosa.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Helena man was killed Wednesday night in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 82 east of Tuscaloosa.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said Casey W. Bratton, 55, was driving a 2004 Lincoln Navigator when the vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned at about 7:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Troopers said Bratton was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred near the 64 mile marker on U.S. Highway 82, about 10 miles east of Tuscaloosa in Tuscaloosa County.
Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division are continuing to investigate the crash.
